BPSC PT: Examination admit card will be able to download from today, the candidates have requested to extend the exam date regarding water logging
Patna: The admit card for the 65th Preliminary Examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) can be downloaded from the website of the Commission from October 5 today. According to Joint Secretary cum Examination Controller Amarendra Kumar, the admit card for the preliminary examination to be held on 718 examination centers in 35 districts of the state on October 15 can be downloaded from the BPSC website or the Bihar government website on October 5. Admit card will not be sent to the candidates by post. This admit card can be downloaded only till October 13.
According to the Controller of Examinations, it will be compulsory for the candidates to bring a photo identity card along with the admit card. Among these, one has to bring identity card such as PAN card, Aadhaar card, Driving license, Voter ID card etc. issued by the state government or central government. Candidates will not get admission inside the examination centers with electronic devices. If the candidate comes with any type of mobile, Bluetooth, WiFi, electronic pen, smart watch etc., then they will not get admission. If caught with a restricted gazette, their application will be rejected. Along with this, legal action will be taken against the candidate. Candidates have to register attendance at the examination centers one hour before the scheduled time. Candidates will have to sign the declaration form available on the website of the Commission in Hindi or English and affix a colored photograph attested by the gazetted officials. Also, two certified color photographs have to be brought. One of these photos has to be pasted in the admit card downloaded from the website of the commission and one color photo in the office copy. Admission to the examination center will be allowed only after the signature and photo matching of the declaration form and e-admit card.
Candidates requested to extend the date of BPSC PT
Here, the candidate has requested the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister to post on social media about the BPSC's demand to extend the date of the proposed 65th PT exam on October 15. Priyanka Bindulji, a student preparing for BPSC in Patna, told that she was stuck in water logging after the rain for the last eight days. Due to this, their preparation has been affected. Dipankar Gaurav, a student of Patna University, has written a letter to the chairman of BPSC and requested to extend the date of BPSC PT. In the letter, he has written that 18 districts of Bihar are in the grip of flood. In such a situation the preparation of students has been badly affected. Due to this, the date should be extended so that the candidates can get relief. Kunal Kumar, a student of Jehanabad, told that he stays in Patna and prepares for BPSC. But, since the last days, their preparation has also been badly affected after the flood, they have requested to extend the date of PT by tweeting the Chief Minister, Chairman of BPSC.
Candidates got support from student unions
Kanhaiya Kumar Kaushik, state general secretary of JDU, vice-cum-student of AN College Students Union, has also sought to postpone the date of preliminary examination to 15 October, in favor of BPSC candidates. He said that many districts of the state are flood affected. In such a situation, the candidate is not mentally ready to take the exam. Therefore, it is very important to extend the date.
