Tibet’s 14th Dalai Lama Tenjin Gyatso, a disciple of Tibetans, followers of Buddhism and spiritual guru. He was born in Tibet te Taksat, a small village. According to the Tibetan tradition, at the age of two, he was recognized as the predecessor of his predecessor 13th Dalai Lama. When on November 17, 1950, about 80,000 soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army of China captured Tibet, then Tibetans strongly resisted Chinese occupation.
